La obra de Pizarro busca expresar los movimientos internos/metafísicos del ser. El ser humano está fragmentado, torcido, enredado en su relación consigo y con el mundo. Su obra fascina por su capacidad de explorar al ser humano en sus múltiples facetas—sus polos, contradicciones, esperanzas, evolución y su relación con el otro—con una técnica que Pizarro creó y usa de manera versátil para representar todas estas fluctuaciones.
Su obra ha sido expuesta tanto en Asia como en Chile, siendo invitado el año pasado a la primera feria de Arte Ibero-amerricano en el Seoul Arts Centre (Hangaram Museum) donde se exhibió parte de la segunda serie de anti-retratos
Pizarro's work seeks to express the internal motions / metaphysical of the being. The human being is fragmented, twisted, tangled in his relationship with himself and with the world. His work fascinates by its ability to explore the human being in its many facets, its poles, contradictions, hopes, evolution and its relationship to the other, using a technique that Pizarro created and used in a versatile way to represent all these fluctuations.
His work has been exhibited both in Asia and in Chile, being invited the last year to the first Ibero-American Art Fair in Seoul Arts Centre (hangaram Museum) where a part of the second series of anti-portraits was exhibited.
especializado en pintura realista abstracta con gran énfasis en figura humana. Mi trabajo ha sido una constante búsqueda y desarrollo de una técnica de figuración al oleo, pero alejada de un realismo clásico, en donde el trabajo del realismo se ve expresado también en el quehacer de la obra , dejando pequeñas casualidades o imperfecciones como parte esencial de la pieza, perdiendo y generando un ambiente sereno al momento de representar los diferentes temas. En instantes el fondo de la figura se mezcla con ella integrándola al ambiente y viceversa y tan solo pequeños contrastes, tonos y matices los que demarcan el inicio y el fin de la figura, creando un ritmo en la pintura que ayuda a la composición de la obra.
specialized in abstract realism paintings and place a great emphasis on the human figure and interiors. My work has been a constant search for and development of figurative oil painting techniques that step away from classic realism. I appreciate works of realism that are also expressed by their processes, with imperfections left on purpose that become an essential part of the piece, and that lose and generate a serene environment. At times, backgrounds will merge with the human figure and vice versa, with only some contrast; tones and hues will mark the start and end of figures, and create a rhythm that supports the composition itself.
